Properties of Garlock® gaskets
Cannon Gasket cuts Garlock® gaskets to your drawing in durometer and thickness specifications of 0.010" to 0.250" thickness. Exceptional across grade types: PTFE grades for near-universal chemical resistance; graphite grades for high-temperature service; compressed fiber grades for balanced oil, steam, and chemical resistance.
Garlock® tolerances and customization
Standard dimensional tolerances on Garlock® gaskets land around ±0.010" to ±0.015" on OD and ID, depending on material durometer and thickness. Tighter tolerances are available on selected grades. Cannon Gasket cuts Garlock® to custom profiles in-house and matches lead times to your production volume. PSA backing, pad printing, custom packaging, and kitting are all on the menu when you need them.
Grades and Service
- Blue-Gard® 3000 — general-purpose aramid fiber for water, steam, and mild chemicals. - GYLON® expanded PTFE — chemical-resistant flange sealing for aggressive media. - IFG® compressed sheet — economical fiber gasket for low-to-moderate pressure. - Garlock 3000-series and specialty grades — by flange specification.
Where Garlock Gaskets Are Specified
Refinery and chemical pipe flange sealing, chemical processing equipment, water and steam service, and any flange application where the engineering drawing specifies a Garlock grade by name.
