Sealing, cushioning, and weather barriers.
Foam and sponge gasket materials seal where rigid gaskets cannot. These soft, compressible cellular elastomers and foams conform to uneven surfaces, fill wide tolerance gaps, and seal under light closure force, which makes them the right choice for low-pressure sealing, vibration and shock damping, dust and weather barriers, sound dampening, and thermal insulation. Closed-cell sponge and foam resist water, air, and moisture intrusion for environmental gasketing, while open-cell grades compress easily for cushioning, padding, and air filtration. Grades like Poron and Volara add long-term compression recovery and crosslinked durability for demanding sealing and cushioning duty.
Cannon Gasket custom die-cuts foam and sponge gaskets to your drawing in neoprene, EPDM, silicone, polyurethane, PVC, EVA, and specialty cellular materials, in soft, medium, and firm densities. We supply pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing on one or both sides for fast peel-and-stick assembly, plus material blends, tight tolerances, kiss-cutting, and short or long production runs from our ISO 9001 facility in Fontana, California. From prototype through production, we cut the right cell structure and durometer for your seal and finish it ready to install.
