SBR Lathe-Cut Washers
Key Properties
- Durometer: 40–80 Shore A
- Cost-effective compound
- Good abrasion resistance
- Good aging stability
Why specify SBR for lathe-cut washers?
SBR lathe cut washers are the economical specification when an application needs a thicker, square-walled rubber washer at the lowest unit cost and oil / outdoor / temperature exposures are absent.
Properties of SBR lathe-cut washers
Cannon Gasket cuts SBR lathe-cut washers to your drawing in durometer and thickness specifications of 40A to 80A Shore hardness. Good resistance to water, dilute acids, and alcohols. Not suitable for petroleum oils, fuels, or strong solvents.
SBR tolerances and customization
Standard dimensional tolerances on SBR lathe-cut washersland around ±0.010" to ±0.015" on OD and ID, depending on material durometer and thickness. Tighter tolerances are available on select grades. Cannon Gasket cuts SBR to custom profiles in-house and matches lead times to your production volume. PSA backing, pad printing, custom packaging, and kitting are all on the menu when you need them.
